This Week's Character Who Inspired Me: Indiana Jones

I just HAD to make my first post for this section about my favorite character of all time, from the film series that changed my life forever as a child. He's a scoundrel, yet has a heart of gold. He always doubts the powers of whatever MacGuffin he's after, but respects it by the end. He's also dashingly handsome, great at thinking on his feet, tough as nails yet not invulnerable. Not to mention he can rock a leather jacket and fedora, and handle a whip like nobody's business. If it wasn't for that fateful first viewing of Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981), I don't know if I'd be pursuing a career in directing today.
